Answer
If you are unable to save a Timer, please check the following possible causes:
1. The Device May Be Connected via LAN but Disconnected from the Cloud
Your device may still be available through LAN Control while its connection to the eWeLink cloud has been lost. In this case, the Timer may not be successfully saved to the device through the cloud.
To check the connection:
- Open the device control page and go to Device Settings.
- Temporarily disable LAN Control.
- Check the device status in the eWeLink app.
If the device appears offline after LAN Control is disabled, it indicates that the device has lost its connection to the cloud.
Please restore the device's internet/cloud connection and then try saving the Timer again.
2. The Maximum Number of Timers May Have Been Reached
A single device supports up to 20 Timers.
If the device already has 20 Timers, you will not be able to save a new one. Please check the existing Timers, delete any that are no longer needed, and then try again.
3. The Network Connection May Be Unstable
An unstable network connection on either your phone or the device may also cause a Timer to fail to save.
Make sure both your phone and device have a stable network connection, and then try saving the Timer again.
